Whether you are looking for a romantic week in our one bedroom gite... Or maybe a family celebration needing eight bedrooms, our beautiful longère on the Normandie / Mayenne border is waiting for you... It could be a rural holiday with the children where you will sit on the terrace with aperitifs while the children splash in the swimming pool in front of your gite. Or watch them play games in our 3 acre garden and orchard... Perhaps you are wanting a gite with friends, enjoying a pre-dinner glass of wine or local cider while the barbeque lights and you watch the sun go down over the rolling French countryside... Whatever you wish for in a holiday you will be able to live that dream at La Maison Neuve, our 19th century farmhouse in Northern France, with beautiful countryside, superb selection of restaurants - from just over 10 Euro for a four course lunch (with wine) to a “special occasion” Michelin star restaurant, all within a short drive - it will be here at La Maison Neuve. We both look forward to helping you with the holiday you wish for. All our gites have fully equipped kitchens to cook and prepare the day's food, possibly picked from our own vegetable garden and orchard and we haven't forgotten the need for fresh towels and linen which are all included. We, Yvette and George, moved here in July 2011 having decided that we would make our home in France. We live on site in the converted barn so will be on hand to offer help and advice whenever needed without being at all intrusive. All information that you require is in each of the gites but sometimes, if you prefer the personal touch, we are more than happy to discuss days out, restaurants, the quaint French opening hours for shops and supermarkets and any other requirements you may have.
