All bookings are subject to the following terms and conditions:-  

The booking contract will be between you and the owners of the gites, George & Yvette Canty. 

Payment:
Initial booking will be by the payment of a non-returnable deposit of £75.00 per week for the holiday gite.      
Full payment will be required 6 weeks prior the start of your holiday. This to include the returnable security deposit of £100.
If payment is not received 6 weeks prior to the commencement of the holiday you will still be liable for the full cost if the gite cannot be re-let.
If you are booking less than 6 weeks before the start of your holiday then full payment must be made at the time of booking.
We recommend that you take out your own holiday insurance which should include cover for cancellations as the owners’ insurance will not cover loss.
In the unlikely event that the owners have to cancel your holiday, a full refund will be provided.
If you do cancel your holiday and the gite can subsequently be re-let, you will receive a refund depending on the sum that can be recouped.
During colder seasons, a basket of wood for the fire will be made available (except Meadow View). Further baskets of wood will be available at 5€ per basket.

Security  deposit:
The security deposit of £100 must be paid with the balance of the payment of the holiday 6 weeks prior to arrival.
Deductions will be made for damage no matter how caused. If the cost of reparation is greater than the cost of the damage, the guest will be responsible for making up the difference.
You will be expected to leave the gite as you found it including the state of cleanliness. If this is not the case then appropriate deductions may be made from the deposit.   

Arrival and  departure:
Arrival time will normally be after 4.00pm on the day of arrival and departure will be before 10.00am on the day of departure. This allows time for preparing the gite for the  next guests.  

Smoking:
In line with French legislation smoking is not permitted in the gites or around the swimming pool. 
If you wish to smoke in the garden please ensure that this does not offend any of the other guests. You are requested to ensure that cigarette ends and matches do not cause litter. 

Swimming  pool:
The swimming pool has a fence to ensure safety for children. It remains the responsibility of parents to ensure that their children are supervised at all times.   
Smoking and drinking, particularly with glass vessels, are prohibited around the pool.
You must respect other users in the pool area and ensure that you and your children behave appropriately.  

Bed linen and  towels:-
Bed linen and towels are provided and included in the price. However you may wish to provide you own beach towels for lounging near the pool.

Cots:
 A cot can be provided for small babies if advanced notice is given.

Pets:  
Strictly be arrangement with the owners as noisy or inconsiderate pets will not be allowed. 

We do hope that you find these terms and conditions acceptable as they are intended to provide a framework for a safe and peaceful holiday for you and your family. We will be on site to help you to enjoy your holiday as much as you can though we will ensure that we are not intrusive.
